G. LOOMIS ROD GUIDE
G.
LOOMIS ROD COMPONENTS
EXCLUSIVE
MATERIALS
With the
possible exception of NASA, nobody has more experience in graphite design
engineering than G. Loomis. Time and time again, they have revolutionized
the fishing rod industry with their advances in composite technology.
By working with graphite manufacturers, they have helped create the lightest,
most advanced materials ever developed for fishing rods. And thanks to
their custom-designed proprietary machinery, they are able to roll denser
laminates, producing rod blanks so strong, precise and consistent, no
one else can possibly match them.
PREMIUM
CORK
Only the
finest Ultra grade cork from Portugal is selected for G. Loomis rod handles.
First it's custom shaped for comfort and sensitivity. Then the cork's
natural voids (or pores) are filled with an exclusive catalyzed neutral-density
hydrophobic material for the ultimate in durability and feel.
ADVANCED
GUIDES
G. Loomis
fly rods feature single foot snake guides for further weight reduction
and easy passage of nail knots. The casting and spinning models feature
lightweight braced ceramic guides. And for the ultimate in corrosion resistance
and durability, all G. Loomis GLX and GL4 models boast Titanium Carbide-Nitride
coated frames.
STEALTH
FINISH
Every G.
Loomis rod features a no glare, no scare, matte finish. That means less
rod flash while casting, and less chance of spooking wary fish. On GLX
and IMX models, however, they go one step further for the ultimate in
stealth: A buffed graphite non-finish that not only stops glare, it eliminates
finish weight altogether. Yet another way G. Loomis found to make their
rods the lightest you've ever fished.
