I have many customers ask how far the float will sink with different weights under it, so here is a list of depth. I used bobber weights to measure the depth. With these measure from the pointed end of the float ( not the painted head ). Float models: 11gr. length 3" , 1/4oz.- 2 3/4", 1/8- 2 3/8", 1/16-2 1/4". 20gr. length 4 1/8", 1/2oz.-3 3/8", 3/8oz.- 3 3/16", 1/4oz-2 7/8". 25gr. length 4 3/4", 3/4oz.-4", 1/2oz.-3 1/2", 3/8oz.-2 7/8". 35gr. length 5 3/8", 1 1/2oz.-4 3/4", 1 1/4oz.-4 1/2", 1 oz. 4 1/4", 3/4oz.-3 5/8", 1/2oz.-3 1/2". If you use the heavy weight for a given float it will sink to where the colored head only shows.I hope this has helped you choose the right float.
